This Bag's For You: Renee Patrick

In this episode, I'm picking up litter in honor of my friend Renee Patrick, she does amazing work for trail organizations and the long distance hiking community but she's laid up with some injuries right now that are preventing her from doing the work she loves.

This Bag's For You: The Conservation Alliance

In this episode, I pick up trash at Marshall Mountain in Missoula, Montana in honor of The Conservation Alliance. In 2023, they awarded a $40,000 grant to Friends of Missoula Parks which, along with a huge community fundraising effort and support from other nonprofits, helped the City of Missoula purchase 480 acres of land from a private owner. Marshall Mountain is now public land and available to all for hiking, mountain biking, birding, backcountry skiing and more.

This Bag's For You: Ocean Conservancy

In honor of National Ocean Month, I'm saying thank you to Ocean Conservancy for the work they do to keep trash out of the oceans, protect fisheries and advocate for justice, protection and funding of ocean-saving projects. Thanks Ocean Conservancy, This Bag's For You!

If you're looking for a way to celebrate National Ocean Month, visit the Ocean Conservancy’s Action Center and voice up to policy makers about issues like seabed mining, plastic pollution, threats to the Endangered Species Act and harmful shipping industry pollution.
