Shaggy’s Skis Graphic Design

Overview

Client: Shaggy’s Skis

Project: I was Shaggy’s go-to design gal for over ten years.

Scope: Ongoing Brand and Marketing Development

Design Process: From 2008-2022, I worked with the owners of Shaggy’s – a family from Boyne City, Michigan – on everything from creating their brand identity to building a marketing plan to ski topsheet designs. I was able to take my experience of working in the ski industry and skills as a designer to help them create rad ski graphics and a strong brand presence in Northern Michigan and beyond.

How this helps the planet:
Small businesses like Shaggy’s are environmentally friendly by nature; small, efficient operations and close control over supply chain results in a smaller carbon footprint. They use wood from the local lumber mill which omits the need for large, heavy materials to be shipped from far distances. Shaggy’s only sells direct-to-consumer, cutting out the additional shipping and packaging costs that are a result of being sold in shops.
