Project Details
Design Process:
I worked with National Forest Foundation to identify and consolidate a document they provided about communicating the risks and threats of forest loss and how planting trees can help sequester CO2. I broke down the information they provided into simple section of text and presented the client with a rough sketch depicting the visuals, proposed copy and overall flow of the graphic. We worked together to finalize these details on the sketch before executing a finalized design.
Impact:
Since the campaign’s launch, National Forest Foundation has facilitated the planting of 33,546,926 trees of their goal to plant 50 million. They’ve supported 199 projects throughout 63 National Forests in 26 states with the program.
How this helps the planet:
Raising awareness around the threats to forest health and the benefits of trees helps support clean air and CO2 capture, habitat for wildlife and improved quality of life for humans.
