Leadville, Colorado, USA

What's next? After a crazy year of traveling abroad in 2017,  I'll be spending this winter exploring the US and Canadian Rockies with Isaac in his Airstream Safari. We both have jobs that allow us to travel at our leisure and work remotely – usually all we need is a place to park with WiFi or 4G. For those who are curious, the camper is fully equipped with heat, shower, electricity, office space and a full kitchen, the rig is self-contained and we don't need to be "plugged in" to operate. So far, we've been basecamped in Boulder, Colorado and took our first test run to Leadville – the highest incorporated city in United States. Great proving grounds for cold and snow (and we survived!).

Something else that I'm excited about in 2018 is our side project – Rico's Basecamp (named after Rico the dog). It's an incubator-style mobile creative agency. Clients will hire us to drive the Airstream "studio" to their chosen location where we'll collaborate on developing or refreshing their brand. They'll walk away with a logo, website, photography and digital content. So far, this concept is one-of-a-kind and will be great for companies who want a different, more personalized agency experience. There's no dialing into boring Go-To Meetings, endless e-mail chains or other big agency antics.

Part two of Rico's Basecamp is all about the adventure and exploration component. We'll be blogging and sharing our stories along the way while seeking partnerships and collaborations with people and brands we meet on the road.
